What is Alpha Capital Group?

Funded Trading Platform

Alpha Capital Group is a funded trading platform offering professional traders access to significant capital. Users can trade without risking personal funds while following strict rules to ensure sustainable growth and risk management. The programme is built around a defined evaluation stage and a set of trading rules that continue to apply once an account is funded.

Global Reach

Alpha Capital Group offers access to traders worldwide. Users can trade different asset classes, including forex, indices, and commodities, while complying with regional regulations. Availability and the instruments offered can vary by region, so check what applies where you live.

Risk Management Focus

The platform focuses on a risk control system, requiring traders to follow strict drawdown limits and profit targets. This ensures longevity in trading while protecting both trader and company capital. These limits sit at the centre of the programme: breaching a drawdown rule ends the account regardless of how it performed beforehand.

Trader-Friendly Policies

Alpha Capital Group offers transparent trading policies, clear terms, and flexible withdrawal options. Traders benefit from structured guidance, fast payouts, and tools designed to enhance performance and reduce unnecessary losses. Read the payout schedule and withdrawal conditions in full before starting an evaluation, since those terms decide when profit actually reaches you.

Firm Rules

Inactivity and All-or-Nothing Rule

All accounts will be deactivated after thirty days of inactivity. Logging in and keeping an active connection is required to avoid deactivation. Once an account is deactivated, it cannot be restored. All-or-nothing trading behavior, where success depends on one or very few trades, is strictly prohibited.

Trade Duration and Order Spamming

Traders must maintain an average trade duration of more than two minutes. At least fifty percent of the requested profit must come from trades that last longer than two minutes. Entering many orders in a very short time, known as order block spamming, is not allowed.

News Trading Rules

News trading is allowed only on Swing accounts for qualified analysts. If a trade is opened within two minutes before or after a news release, it must last more than two minutes to be valid. Alpha Pro 8% and 10% accounts have a two-minute restriction around high-impact news, while Alpha One, Alpha Pro 6%, and Alpha Three accounts have a five-minute restriction. News trading is allowed without restriction during all evaluation programs.

Drawdown Adjustment and Risk Management

For Alpha One accounts, if the six percent trailing drawdown resets after reaching a six percent profit, traders must keep a profit buffer to continue trading. Withdrawing all profits will close the account. Consistently risking or losing two percent or more on a single trade or group of trades closed together is not allowed.

Allocation and Copy Trading Rules

The maximum allocation on a Qualified Analyst account is three hundred thousand dollars per trading strategy, defined by the traded asset. Copy trading is allowed only between personal accounts, and proof of ownership is required when using an Alpha Capital account as a slave. Copy trading is supported on MT5 only. Extended copy trading is also available through Prop Firm One.

Maximum Lot Size Rules (Funded Accounts)

Funded accounts have strict maximum lot limits based on account size and program type. Alpha Swing accounts have lower lot limits, while Alpha One, Alpha Pro, and Alpha Three accounts allow higher maximum lots. These limits increase with account size and must be followed at all times to remain compliant.
