Not Accepted / Restricted Jurisdictions
The legal notice on fbs.com states that FBS Markets Inc (Belize FSC licence 000102/31) does not offer financial services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including but not limited to those below. Checked 23 September 2026:
Why it matters: EEA residents are routed to the separate CySEC-regulated fbs.eu entity — leverage caps (1:30) and protections differ from the global 1:3000. Confirm availability for your country first.
Pros and Cons of FBS
Pros
- $5 minimum deposit, and Cent accounts that make a small balance workable
- No trading commission; floating spreads advertised from 0.7 pips
- MT4, MT5 and the FBS app, with demo accounts on the same conditions
- No FBS fee on deposits or withdrawals, across 200+ payment methods
- 4.3 out of 5 from 10,045 Trustpilot reviews, with no warning on the profile (23 Sep 2026)
- Negative balance protection, segregated client money, margin call 40% and stop out 20%
Cons
- Most clients trade under the Belize entity, which has no compensation scheme
- Not available to residents of the US, UK, EU, Israel, India, Iran or Myanmar
- EU clients go through fbs.eu at 1:30 leverage, where 66.43% of retail accounts lose money
- Leverage to 1:3000 makes a small account very easy to lose
- No typical spread published per pair, so the 0.7 pip figure is a floor, not an average
- Verification and withdrawal holds are the most common theme in one-star reviews

FBS vs Exness
FBS vs Exness. Both are popular high-leverage, low-deposit brokers. FBS stands out for its $5 entry, Cent accounts and bonuses, making it very beginner-friendly. Exness is known for ultra-tight spreads, instant automatic withdrawals and extremely high leverage on some accounts. If you want the smallest possible start and educational support, FBS fits; if raw spreads and withdrawal speed matter most, compare Exness closely.
Two further high-leverage alternatives worth lining up next to FBS are FXTRADING.com, an ASIC and VFSC regulated broker with a $50 minimum and leverage to 1:500, and GTCFX, multi-regulated since 2012 with no minimum deposit and a choice of MT4, MT5 or cTrader.
FBS Review 2026: Is It a Good High-Leverage Broker?
FBS has been trading since 2009 and is a reasonable pick for a beginner with a small balance: $5 gets you in, the Cent account makes that money go further, there is no trading commission, and FBS charges nothing on deposits or withdrawals. Trustpilot had it at 4.3 out of 5 from 10,045 reviews with no warning on the profile when we checked on 23 September 2026.
The thing to settle before you deposit is which company you are signing with. Unless you are in the EU that is FBS Markets Inc in Belize, licensed by the Belize FSC but with no compensation scheme behind it. EU clients get Tradestone Ltd under CySEC, with the Investor Compensation Fund and a 1:30 leverage cap instead of 1:3000. Residents of the US, UK, Israel, India, Iran and Myanmar are not accepted at all.
Our score is 4.1 out of 5: real value and a genuinely low barrier to entry, held back by an offshore licence for most of its clients and leverage that makes a small account fragile.
