Skilling at a Glance — Brand Profile & Stats

Who Is Skilling?

Skilling is a Scandinavian-rooted CFD broker founded in 2016, headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus 🇨🇾, built around low costs and a clean proprietary platform.

  • Modern, beginner-friendly design
  • 1,200+ CFD instruments
  • Low minimum deposit

Why it matters: Skilling was designed mobile-first and beginner-first — a genuinely simple on-ramp to CFD trading.

Trustpilot & Reputation

4.3 / 5 on Trustpilot from 430+ reviews, 80%+ of them 5-star.

  • Praised: low costs, fast execution, support
  • Watch: spreads can widen in volatile markets

Honest take: A strong, well-reviewed broker — just remember CFDs are high-risk (82% of retail accounts lose money).

Account Types

Two account tiers, both of which can be traded on MT4:

  • Standard — €100 minimum on the EU entity, zero commission
  • Premium — from €5,000, tighter spreads, volume commission
  • MT4 — a platform available on both tiers, not a separate account with its own pricing

Free demo accounts available.

Checked against the broker's own account-types page, 17 September 2026. The euro minimums above are the EU entity's; the rest-of-world site (now TradingMoon) publishes $25 and $5,000.

Regulation & Safety

EU + offshore regulated:

  • 🇨🇾 CySEC (Cyprus, EU/MiFID)
  • 🇸🇨 FSA Seychelles — licence No. SD042, held by TM Trading Limited, Oceanic House, Providence Estate, Victoria, Mahé
  • Segregated client funds (EU entity)

Check which brand you are signing up to. The rest-of-world business now trades as TradingMoon: skilling.com/row/ returns an HTTP 301 redirect to tradingmoon.com/row/, and that site states it is the trading name of TM Trading Limited, authorised and regulated by the Seychelles FSA under licence No. SD042 (checked 17 September 2026). The EU pages at skilling.com/eu/ returned an HTTP 403 Cloudflare challenge on the same date, so the CySEC entity's licence number and current status could not be verified here.

Why it matters: CySEC oversight gives EU clients investor compensation and leverage caps that protect retail traders. The Seychelles entity provides neither, so which entity registers your account decides what protection you actually have.

Skilling Fees, Spreads & Pricing

Skilling keeps pricing simple with a low-deposit Standard account and a tighter-spread Premium tier.

AccountEUR/USD spreadCommissionMin deposit
Standardfrom ~0.7 pipnone€100
Premiumfrom 0.1 pipnone€5,000
MT4Platform, not a separate tier — Standard or Premium pricing applies

MT4 is a platform, not a third account. The broker's own account-types page lists MetaTrader 4 alongside its web platform and cTrader on both the Standard and the Premium tier, so an MT4 account is priced at whichever tier you open it on — there is no separate MT4 spread, commission or minimum deposit.

Where these figures come from, and what we could not confirm. On its rest-of-world site the broker now trades as TradingMoon: skilling.com/row/ returns an HTTP 301 redirect to tradingmoon.com/row/. That site publishes Standard — $25 minimum, spreads from 0.7 pips, zero commission and Premium — $5,000 minimum, spreads from 0.2 pips, commission from $35 per million traded (checked 17 September 2026). The euro-denominated €100 and €5,000 minimums and the 0.1-pip Premium spread in the table above belong to the CySEC (EU) entity, whose pages at skilling.com/eu/ returned an HTTP 403 Cloudflare challenge on the same date and could not be re-verified — treat them as unconfirmed and check the live account-opening page before funding.

EU leverage capped at 1:30 (FX majors); higher via the Seychelles entity. Funding via cards, bank wire and e-wallets — Skilling advertises no deposit fees.

Why it matters: The €100 Standard account is a low-cost way to start, while Premium's 0.1-pip spreads suit higher-volume traders.
