Audacity Capital Review

Audacity Capital has sold funded-trading evaluations since March 2012. Its cheapest route, the two-phase Ability Challenge, starts at $49 for a $5,000 account and runs to $1,049 for $200,000, with no consistency rule and no time limit. The profit split starts at 75% and reaches 90% through a scaling plan. The trading entity is licensed in Anjouan, Union of Comoros, not the UK, and Trustpilot has withdrawn the firm’s star rating after removing reviews it judged fake.

Who is Audacity Capital?

Audacity Capital
Trading arm registered in the Comoros, with a London office
Trading entity
AudaCity Global LTD
Licence
L15850/WL, Anjouan (Comoros)
Founded
March 2012 (14 years)
London office
25 Cabot Square, E14 4QZ
Payments run through two other companies: AudaCity International FZCO (licence DSO-FZCO 38282, Dubai Silicon Oasis) and Propmetry Limited (HE469039, Limassol, Cyprus). The firm’s own footer says both act only as payment facilitators, and that all trading activity sits with the Comoros entity.
Audacity Capital is often described as a UK firm. The London address is an office; the licence that governs your account is an Anjouan (Union of Comoros) brokerage and clearing licence, which carries none of the FCA protections a UK-regulated firm would. Checked 25 Sep 2026.

What Trustpilot shows

⚠️
Trustpilot has withdrawn Audacity Capital’s score
There is no star rating on the profile. Trustpilot shows a consumer alert headed Breach of guidelines with the line “We’ve removed a number of fake reviews for this company”, and hides the score. The profile carries 296 reviews. Checked 25 Sep 2026.
A withdrawn score is a stronger signal than a low one. It means Trustpilot found reviews it judged to be fake, not that customers rated the firm badly — but it also means the reviews that remain cannot be read as a reliable average. Read individual recent reviews rather than looking for a number, and weigh the 14-year operating history against the fact that someone was posting reviews that Trustpilot removed.

What the cheapest route actually costs

Audacity runs three routes: Ability Challenge (two phases), Ability One (one phase) and FTP Instant Funding (no evaluation). The two-phase route is the cheapest at every size, and the gap is wide.
Cheapest way in
$49
$5K Ability Challenge
Cheapest per $1K funded
$5.25
$200K Challenge at $1,049
The same $50,000 of simulated capital costs $329 through the Ability Challenge, $399 through Ability One and $1,299 through FTP. Instant funding is roughly four times the price of the two-step route for the same account size, which is what you pay for skipping the evaluation. List prices read from Audacity’s own pricing table, 25 Sep 2026.
Why it matters: Evaluation accounts top out at $200,000 at purchase, and Audacity says the scaling plan can take a funded account beyond $2 million. That ceiling is the firm’s selling point, not the entry price.

Platform Stack

Audacity Capital runs two platforms, not one:
MetaTrader 5 (desktop, mobile, web terminal)
The main platform. Web terminal at audacity.capital/download-mt5/, so you can trade without installing anything.
DXtrade
Browser-based. This is the only route Audacity offers to US residents, who it says may take part via DXtrade where permitted. There is no cTrader, no TradeLocker and no NinjaTrader.
EAs and copy trading: expert advisors are allowed, but high-frequency EAs, latency arbitrage and hedging the same position across several accounts are all listed as prohibited strategies. Audacity says its risk team reviews an account when you pass a phase or request a payout, so an EA that trips those rules surfaces at the worst moment.

Markets & Trading Conditions

Audacity lists forex majors and minors, indices, gold and commodities, and crypto across MT5 and DXtrade:
💱 Forex
Majors and minors. Audacity advertises spreads “starting from 0.0 pips” on institutional liquidity; it publishes no typical-spread table, so treat that as a floor, not an average.
📈 Indices, gold, crypto
Indices, gold and commodities on every account. The FTP instant-funding route also lists energies and crypto.
News and weekends: both are allowed. Audacity’s written rule is narrower than it is often reported — you may hold through news and over the weekend, but you must not open, close or add to a position within 3 minutes either side of a high-impact release or speech.

The rules that differ by route

The limits differ by route, which is where most people get caught out — the widely quoted 7.5% belongs to one phase of one programme:
1. Ability One is the tightest, not the loosest
The one-step route allows just 3% daily and 6% total while asking for the same 10% profit target. The two-step route allows 7.5% daily and 15% total in phase 1, then 5% and 10% from verification onwards.
2. FTP is the only route with a trailing drawdown
Instant funding runs 5% daily and 10% maximum, and that maximum trails your high-water mark. Everything else at Audacity is a static drawdown measured from the starting balance.
3. Minimum trading days still apply
4 days per phase on the Ability Challenge, 3 on Ability One, 5 on FTP. There is no consistency rule on any route and no time limit, so the only clock is the minimum, not a deadline.
The daily limit resets at midnight on MT5 server time (GMT+2, or GMT+3 during daylight saving), which is not midnight where you live. Rules read from Audacity’s own pricing table and terms, 25 Sep 2026.

What are Audacity Capital's position limits and drawdown rules?

Ability Challenge — two phases

Account sizes
$5K to $200K
Profit target
10%, then 5%
Max daily loss
7.5%, then 5%
Max total loss
15%, then 10%
Static drawdown, measured from the starting balance, so a winning week does not raise the floor. Phase 1 gives you the widest room in the firm’s line-up; verification and the live account tighten to 5% daily and 10% total. On a $50,000 account that is $3,750 a day and $7,500 in total during phase 1, then $2,500 and $5,000 afterwards. Minimum 4 trading days per phase, and no time limit on either phase.

Ability One — one phase

Account sizes
$5K to $100K
Profit target
10% in one phase
Max daily loss
3%
Max total loss
6%
The one-step route asks the same 10% target inside half the room. On a $50,000 account that is $1,500 of daily loss and $3,000 in total, so a single oversized trade can end it. Static drawdown, minimum 3 trading days, no time limit. It is the shorter path, not the easier one.

FTP Instant Funding — no evaluation

Account sizes
$5K to $50K
Profit target
10% before the first payout
Max daily loss
5%
Max total loss
10%, trailing
There is no evaluation to pass, but this is the only Audacity route where the maximum loss trails your high-water mark, so every new equity peak lifts the level that closes the account. Minimum 5 trading days, and the split is capped at 80% rather than the 90% the two evaluation routes advertise. At $1,299 for a $50,000 account it is also the most expensive way in by some distance.

How much does it cost to trade with Audacity Capital?

Forex Spreads & Commissions

Audacity does not publish a typical-spread table, and it does not name its liquidity providers — its terms say it works with commercial providers rather than a retail broker and keeps their identity confidential. That leaves one advertised figure and no way to check an average.
What the firm advertises
Spreads “starting from 0.0 pips” on institutional liquidity through an MT5 bridge. That is a floor on the tightest instrument at the best moment, not what you should expect to pay.
What we could not verify
No published commission schedule and no average spread for any pair. Open the free trial account and watch the spreads on the instruments you actually trade before you buy an evaluation — on a prop account the spread is a direct tax on your profit target.

Account Fees

One-off fees, priced in US dollars, with GBP and EUR available at checkout. On the two evaluation routes the fee is refunded with your first payout; on FTP there is nothing to refund because there is no evaluation. Ability Challenge list prices, read 25 Sep 2026:
$5K
$49
$10K
$79
$25K
$195
$50K
$329
$100K
$549
$200K
$1,049
There is no monthly fee, no activation fee and no reset fee published. Audacity runs discounts often, including an anniversary offer and rank-based vouchers for its leaderboard competition, so the figure at checkout is frequently below list — these are the list prices the discounts are taken from.

Cost per $1,000 of funded capital

Divide the list fee by the account size and the three routes separate sharply. Figures below are Audacity list prices at $50,000, read 25 Sep 2026:
Ability Challenge, $50K at $329$6.58 per $1K
Ability One, $50K at $399$7.98 per $1K
FTP Instant, $50K at $1,299$25.98 per $1K
Within the Ability Challenge the rate improves as the account grows: $9.80 per $1K at $5,000, $6.58 at $50,000 and $5.25 at $200,000. FTMO’s two-step challenge, for comparison, lists €540 for $100,000 and €1,080 for $200,000, which is €5.40 per $1K at both sizes — close enough that price is not the reason to choose between them.
Why it matters: Audacity is not the expensive option it is sometimes made out to be, as long as you take the two-step route. Instant funding is where the money goes — four times the price of the same account through the Ability Challenge, in exchange for skipping an evaluation that has no time limit anyway.

Which countries cannot use Audacity Capital?

Who Audacity Capital will not accept

Audacity names three countries outright. Its footer and its own FAQ both say services are not available where local law restricts them, including but not limited to:
🇸🇾 Syria🇮🇷 Iran🇰🇵 North Korea
United States: allowed, but only through DXtrade and only where local rules permit — Audacity states this explicitly in its footer and repeats it in its FAQ. If you are in the US, the MT5 route is not open to you.
What is not published: a full country list. Audacity’s AML policy says it restricts “certain high-risk jurisdictions”, that the list is reviewed at its discretion, and that every applicant goes through KYC with identity and proof-of-address checks before taking part. So a country that is not named above can still be refused at verification, after you have paid. Ask support in writing before buying if you are anywhere sanctions-adjacent. Checked 25 Sep 2026.

Audacity Capital Pros and Cons

✓ Pros
  • Trading since March 2012 — 14 years, which almost no prop firm can match
  • No consistency rule and no time limit on any route
  • Static drawdown on both evaluation routes, measured from the starting balance
  • Evaluation fee refunded with your first payout
  • Genuinely cheap at the top of the range: $5.25 per $1,000 funded at the $200K size
  • News trading and weekend holding both allowed
  • US residents accepted, through DXtrade where local rules permit
  • Free trial account and a free education curriculum, no purchase needed
✗ Cons
  • Trustpilot has withdrawn the score after removing reviews it judged to be fake
  • Your account sits under an Anjouan (Comoros) licence, not a UK one, despite the London office
  • The split starts at 75%; 90% is the top of a scaling plan, not the opening rate
  • Instant funding costs roughly four times the two-step route, caps the split at 80% and is the only route with a trailing drawdown
  • Ability One asks a 10% target inside a 3% daily and 6% total limit
  • No published spread or commission schedule, and the liquidity providers are not named
  • Only two platforms: MT5 and DXtrade
  • No full restricted-country list, so a refusal can come after you have paid

Every plan Audacity Capital sells, at list price in US dollars, read from its own pricing table on 25 September 2026. GBP and EUR are offered at checkout. Best value: the $50,000 Ability Challenge at $329. That is where the price per $1,000 drops below $7 while the drawdown is still the widest Audacity offers, and the fee is refundable. Bigger accounts improve the rate again — $5.25 per $1,000 at $200,000 — but a 7.5% daily limit on a $200,000 account is a lot of rope.

Audacity Capital vs FTMO vs Apex Trader Funding

Two firms people weigh against Audacity: FTMO in the same market, Apex in futures. Every figure below was read from the firm’s own site or its review on this site in the week to 25 September 2026.

Verdict: on price and rules Audacity and FTMO are closer than their reputations suggest — near-identical cost per $1,000 funded, both with no time limit and no consistency rule on the two-step route. The difference is what sits behind the account: FTMO publishes Czech company numbers you can look up, while Audacity’s trading entity is licensed in the Comoros and its Trustpilot score has been withdrawn. Apex is only in this table if you actually want futures; it is a different product on a different platform.

Yes, with a caveat that matters. Audacity Capital has been selling funded accounts since March 2012, which makes it one of the two or three oldest firms still trading in a business where two years counts as established. The product itself is fair: no consistency rule anywhere, no time limit on either evaluation phase, a static drawdown on both evaluation routes, and a $5,000 account for $49 with the fee refunded when you get paid. At $5.25 per $1,000 of funded capital on the largest size, it is priced within a few cents of FTMO.

The caveat is what sits behind the account. The company that runs your trading is AudaCity Global LTD, licensed in Anjouan, Union of Comoros, not in the United Kingdom — the London address on the site is an office, and payments route through a Dubai company and a Cypriot one. And Trustpilot has withdrawn the firm’s star rating after removing reviews it judged to be fake. Neither is proof that anything is wrong with the trading product. Both mean you have less to fall back on if something goes wrong than the firm’s long history implies.

Pick the route deliberately, because the three are not variations on one product. Ability Challenge is the one to take: two phases, the widest drawdown Audacity offers, and the lowest price at every account size. Ability One saves you a phase and costs you half your drawdown — a 10% target inside 3% daily and 6% total is a harder ask than it looks. FTP Instant Funding is roughly four times the price of the same account through the Challenge, caps your split at 80% instead of 90%, and is the only route where the maximum loss trails your equity high. There is no time limit on the evaluations, so paying that much to skip them buys very little.

One number to hold lightly: the 90% profit split in the marketing is the top of a scaling plan. Audacity’s own pricing table says the split starts at 75% and rises with consistent performance. Payouts run on a bi-weekly cycle, with the first available 14 days after your first live trade, and are processed the same day once approved — “same-day payouts” describes the processing, not how often you can ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

Audacity Capital is a real trading firm that has been selling funded accounts since March 2012 and pays traders, but it is not regulated in the way the word “legit” usually implies. Your account is governed by AudaCity Global LTD under an Anjouan (Union of Comoros) brokerage licence, number L15850/WL, and the London address on the website is an office rather than a regulated entity. Trustpilot has also withdrawn the firm’s star rating after removing reviews it judged to be fake. Fourteen years of continuous trading is real evidence; treat it alongside those two facts rather than instead of them. Checked 25 September 2026.
Trading is operated by AudaCity Global LTD, registration number 15850, licensed under the International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence L15850/WL issued by the Union of Comoros, with a registered office in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan. Two other companies handle payments: AudaCity International FZCO, licence DSO-FZCO 38282 in Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Propmetry Limited, company number HE469039 in Limassol, Cyprus. Audacity also keeps a UK office at 25 Cabot Square, Level 11, London E14 4QZ. All of this is stated in the firm’s own website footer.
The two-phase Ability Challenge runs from $49 for a $5,000 account to $1,049 for $200,000, with $79, $195, $329 and $549 for the $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K sizes. Ability One, the one-phase route, costs $69 to $699 across $5K to $100K. FTP Instant Funding costs $119 to $1,299 across $5K to $50K. Those are list prices in US dollars, read from Audacity’s own pricing table on 25 September 2026; GBP and EUR are available at checkout, and the firm discounts often, so the figure you pay is frequently lower.
It starts at 75% and rises to 90%. Audacity’s own pricing table says profit sharing “starts at 75%, you can reach up to 90% with consistent performances in line with our scaling plan”, so the 90% in the marketing is the top of the scale rather than the rate you begin on. FTP Instant Funding is different again and is capped at 80%.
Withdrawals run on a bi-weekly cycle, with your first available 14 days after your first live trade. Once a request is approved, Audacity says the money reaches your dashboard wallet the same day. The phrase “same-day payouts” in the firm’s advertising describes that processing step, not how often you may request money — the cycle is every 14 days.
No. Audacity removed the consistency rule and its pricing table now shows “None” for the Ability Challenge and “Not anymore” for Ability One and FTP. There is also no time limit on either evaluation phase, and news trading and weekend holding are both allowed. The one timing rule that remains is a minimum number of trading days: 4 per phase on the Ability Challenge, 3 on Ability One and 5 on FTP.
Yes, but only through DXtrade. Audacity states in its footer and repeats in its FAQ that US residents may take part via the DX Trade platform where permitted, which means the MT5 route is not open to them. Syria, Iran and North Korea are named as restricted outright, and the firm’s AML policy reserves the right to refuse other high-risk jurisdictions at its discretion after KYC.
MetaTrader 5 and DXtrade, and nothing else. MT5 is available as desktop, mobile and a web terminal, so you can trade without installing anything; DXtrade is browser-based and is the only platform offered to US residents. There is no cTrader, TradeLocker or NinjaTrader. Expert advisors are allowed, but high-frequency EAs, latency arbitrage and hedging one position across several accounts are all listed as prohibited strategies.
The Ability Challenge, in most cases. It is the cheapest route at every account size, it gives you the widest drawdown Audacity offers — 7.5% daily and 15% total in phase 1 — and the fee comes back with your first payout. Ability One saves you a phase but halves your room to 3% daily and 6% total while asking the same 10% target. FTP Instant Funding costs about four times the Challenge for the same account, caps the split at 80% and is the only route where the maximum loss trails your equity high; since the evaluations have no time limit, there is little to gain by paying to skip them.
Trustpilot has applied a consumer alert headed “Breach of guidelines” and states that it has removed a number of fake reviews for the company, which is why no star score appears on the profile. The page still carries 296 reviews you can read individually. A withdrawn score is not the same as a bad score, but it does mean the remaining reviews cannot be read as a reliable average. Checked 25 September 2026.
