WFunded at a Glance

Headquarters

WFunded operates from 256 Ikorodu Road, Obanikoro, Lagos, Nigeria, under the management of Western Sahara Worldwide Services (WSWS). The firm rebranded from Willis Capital and serves traders globally from its African base.

Two Program Tracks

Choose between SkillCheck Standard (two-phase evaluation) and SkillCheck Expedited (one-phase fast track). Both routes lead to live-funded accounts with the same 80/20 profit-split scaling structure.

Account Sizes

Funding tiers range from $5,000 up to $200,000 per individual enrollment. Maximum total funding per trader is capped at $200,000 across active SkillCheck programs at any time.

Scaling Ceiling

Successful live-funded traders can scale account balances as high as $1,000,000 in live funding. The firm states total firm capital is capped at $10,000,000 across the community.

Profit Split

Live-funded traders earn 70% profit split on their first withdrawal and 80% profit split on every subsequent payout. First payouts run monthly; later payouts run on a bi-weekly cycle per WFunded.

Refundable Fee

The enrollment fee is refundable upon successful completion of SkillCheck and is paid back when the trader requests their first performance fee. The smallest $5,000 Standard tier starts at a $70 fee.

Top WFunded Alternatives

FTMO

FTMO is one of the largest and longest-running prop firms globally, with a two-step Challenge + Verification model and well-documented payout history. Traders comparing WFunded with a more established Western brand often shortlist FTMO first.

FundedNext

FundedNext offers Stellar, Express, and Evaluation models with options for instant funding-style payouts and refundable fees. It is a popular WFunded alternative for traders who want multiple program structures under one roof.

The 5%ers

The 5%ers focuses on instant funding and low-drawdown evaluation routes with aggressive scaling. It suits traders who dislike strict time limits and prefer a slower, capital-preserving approach versus WFunded.

BluSky Trading

BluSky is a US-based prop firm offering futures-focused evaluations and live funded accounts. Traders looking for a regulated US alternative to WFunded’s offshore structure often consider BluSky.

Position & Drawdown Limits

Daily Drawdown

For the SkillCheck Standard program, daily drawdown is zero during the Process stage but rises to 5% once a trader passes into Authentication. The 5% daily drawdown limit then continues into the Live-Funded stage.

Maximum Drawdown

Maximum drawdown is 5% during the Process stage of Standard, then expands to 10% in Authentication. The Expedited program uses a 6% maximum drawdown by default per the WFunded program comparison table.

Stimulus Add-On

WFunded offers an optional Stimulus Add-On that expands drawdown by up to 70% after specific criteria are met, for a nominal fee. This add-on is available on Live-Funded accounts according to WFunded.

Consistency & Trading Rules

Profit Targets

SkillCheck Standard requires a 5% profit target in Process and a 10% profit target in Authentication. Live-Funded accounts then trade with no profit targets, focusing entirely on risk-adjusted returns.

Minimum Trading Days

The Standard program requires a minimum of 5 trading days at the Process stage. There is no time limit to complete the evaluation, removing pressure to over-trade for an artificial deadline.

Weekend Holding

Positions held past 10pm GMT+1 on Friday must have a stop-loss attached. Trades without a stop-loss are auto-closed by the firm to enforce risk discipline ahead of Live-Funded promotion.

Latency Rule

A trade must be placed at least every 21 days to keep the account active. This dormancy guard protects the firm’s simulated capital allocation and applies across all program stages.

Commissions & Payout Schedule

Enrollment Fee

The Standard $5,000 SkillCheck costs $70. The enrollment fee scales with account size and is refundable on the trader’s first performance fee withdrawal once they reach Live-Funded status.

Performance Fee

First withdrawal pays a 70/30 profit split on a monthly schedule. Every subsequent payout runs on a bi-weekly cycle with an 80/20 profit split in favour of the trader.

Administrative Fee

WFunded credits a monthly Administrative Fee equal to 30% of the original enrollment fee, contingent on the trader meeting WFunded’s specific criteria. Refer to the WFunded FAQ for current eligibility.

Restricted Countries

Eligibility

WFunded does not publish a public list of restricted countries on its homepage. The firm operates globally from its Lagos, Nigeria headquarters and serves a worldwide trading community. Traders should confirm their region’s eligibility directly with WFunded support at support@wfunded.io before enrolling.
