Profit Split & Payouts
Quoting FFN directly: "Withdrawals over $500 can be initiated anytime, with 80% of profits going to you and 20% to Funded Futures Network."
Same-day payouts processed within 24 hours via ACH, PayPal or bank wire. No tier delays — payouts available from day one of the funded account.
Platforms & Data
Order routing via Rithmic. Connect external charting (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, R\|Trader) to the same data feed if you prefer.
Why it matters: Free platform license alone saves $50–$120/month vs Topstep or Apex evaluation plans.
Fees & Resets
One-time $120 activation after passing the evaluation (sets up Exhibition for OG accounts, or activates Funded for MAX accounts). Resets cost $100 if you break a rule and want to retry without re-buying the evaluation.
No hidden monthly fees on the funded account itself.
Top Funded Futures Network Alternatives
Topstep
Strict 5-day Trading Combine, 90/10 split on first $10K (then 80/20), no $500 minimum payout but you pay $149/mo evaluation.
Vs FFN: FFN is cheaper to retry ($100 reset vs Topstep $99 reset + monthly fee) and offers same-day ACH vs Topstep's 2-3 day cycle.
Apex Trader Funding
Up to 20 accounts, frequent 80%-off promos, but uses static drawdown that resets and a strict 30% consistency rule.
Vs FFN: Apex wins on raw account-bundle pricing during sales; FFN wins on simpler rule structure and 1-on-1 onboarding calls.
TradeDay
Straight-through model with no profit targets in some plans, regulated focus, 80/20 split.
Vs FFN: TradeDay is favored by EU traders for its regulatory posture; FFN wins for US traders wanting same-day ACH and a US legal entity.
Other futures prop firms we have reviewed include BluSky, Tick Tick Traders and OneUp Trader.
Lucid Trading
Higher 90/10 split on funded, but newer firm without FFN's 3-year track record.
Vs FFN: Lucid has the higher payout headline; FFN has the longer trading history and bigger active-account base.

• 3 Mini (30 Micros): $1,001 – $2,000

• 6 Mini (60 Micros): $3,001 – $4,500

How does the Funded Futures Network evaluation work?
Standard Account — 40%
Quoting FFN directly: "one trading session's profits cannot account for more than 40% of your total profit target."
If you exceed 40% on a single day, your effective profit target is raised — not an instant fail. Minimum 7 logged trading days (1 trade per day counts).
Express OG — 40%
Same 40% session cap as Standard. Fastest possible pass is 4 trading days. OG accounts include an Exhibition phase before funded.
Why it matters: Half the calendar time vs Standard while keeping a reasonable consistency band.
MAX Express — 50%
Loosest rules in the FFN lineup. MAX Express needs only 2 winning trading days (verbatim) and allows 50% of profit from a single session.
MAX accounts skip Exhibition and go straight to a Funded account after passing.
Express (Legacy) — 25%
The original Express tier — strictest 25% session cap. Exceed 25% and your profit target gets raised until consistency is met.
Note: MAX Express is the newer recommended Express variant with looser rules.

With 14,000+ active accounts and a Trustpilot rating of 4.3/5 across 433 reviews, FFN has built a reputation for human support (10-second average response), 1-on-1 onboarding calls, and personal risk managers.
Why traders pick FFN
- 80/20 split, paid same-day: Withdrawals over $500 process within 24 hours via ACH, PayPal or bank wire — verbatim from the FFN withdrawal policy.
- Free trading platform: Choose Onyx or Quantower at activation. That's a $50–$120/month saving vs Topstep's subscription model.
- Three evaluation modes: Standard (7-day, 40% consistency), Express OG (4-day, 40% consistency), MAX Express (2 winning days, 50% consistency) — pick whichever fits your style.
- Established US entity: Funded Futures Network LLC, registered in New York since 2022. No offshore shell.
- Live promo on MAX: 50% off MAX plans currently active on the pricing widget — a $50K MAX is $80 instead of $160.
Honest caveats
- Trailing (realized) drawdown only — no static option like BluSky's Growth plans.
- $120 activation fee post-evaluation is real cost, not refundable.
- OG accounts require an Exhibition phase (2–7 business days) before becoming Funded; only MAX skips this.
- Restricted-countries list isn't public — confirm eligibility with support before purchase if you're outside the US/UK/EU.
